Privacy Policy
We are committed to keeping The Forge Calculator lean. We do not sell data and we do not run invasive scripts. This page explains what we store and how you remain in control.
What We Store
- Saves Forge selections to browser Local Storage.
- No account systems, passwords, or payment info.
- Static assets served directly from theforgecalculator.org.
- Error states are cleared on refresh; nothing is sent upstream by default.
Cookies and Analytics
First-party: We only store your forging choices locally and do not emit our own tracking cookies. Third-party: Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, ImgPop) and advertising partners (Google AdSense and ad networks via effectivegatecpm) may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure reach and serve ads.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser, disable personalized ads in Google Ad Settings, or use content blockers to avoid third-party tracking. We use aggregated analytics to understand feature usage without collecting payment or account data.
Data Control
You can clear your browser storage at any time to remove saved inventory information. Since the app is static, no data remains on our servers after asset delivery.
Clearing site data in your browser resets the tool to its initial state with zero inventory and settings.
Third Parties
We load minimal third-party scripts for ads and analytics. These providers follow their own privacy terms and may set cookies or collect usage data to serve relevant ads and measure performance. We do not share custom user profiles or account data as we do not run an account system.
Children
The Forge Calculator is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected information in error, please contact us to have it removed.
Privacy Questions or Concerns?
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, concerns about data handling, or wish to request data deletion, please contact us. We are dedicated to transparent data practices and will respond promptly to privacy-related inquiries.
